While we are in the recovering process of Matthew, we have all seen how this community comes together during times of need. We would love to see this continue on throughout November, and the coming months, even years ahead. We have the perfect place to start!
Saturday, Nov. 26 is the national Small Business Saturday and like most, Sampson County is participating in this event. Small Business Saturday gives us a chance to celebrate the small businesses in our Sampson County community. The owners of these businesses have chosen our County to live out their dreams and to raise their families and to grow. This is the Saturday that we take to thank them, to support them, and to shop local. Shopping local means that for every $100 spent, $73 is brought back into our community and after the disaster of Hurricane Matthew, this year it will be even more important!
It is the time for giving. This wonderful season brings so much happiness to the community and we want you to use some of that giving attitude to a child in need this season. Give the gift of warmth this holiday season and donate coats to our 2016 Coat Closet. We have the drop off locations on our website at www.clintonsampsonchamber.org. You can drop off coats from now until Nov. 30.
Come on out to our Business After Hours next Thursday, Nov. 17, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Performance Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram! Kick off this holiday season with a fun night with food and beverages! This is an event you do not want to miss! They are located at 605 Warsaw Road here in Clinton!
