A Roseboro area woman has been arrested in connection with a breaking and entering on Murphy Road after she was named the suspect by the owner of the stolen goods.
According to reports from the Sampson County Sheriff’s Department, Adrienne Sam Lockamy, 47, of 679 Mintz Road, Roseboro, was charged with stolen property, breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm, injury to real property, injury to personal property and driving while impaired.
She was placed in the Sampson County Detention Center under a$32,500 secured bond.
The charges against Lockamy stem from a break in reported at 441 Murphy Road, Clinton. Upon arrival to the scene, deputies spoke with the homeowner who reported several personal items stolen or damaged, including a firearm, medication and a vehicle.
”The homeowner gave suspect information to officers and they immediately followed up on the information given,” Sheriff’s Lt. Marcus Smith said. “Officers went to the suspect’s home and while there, they witnessed the suspect drive by.”
Officers immediately stopped the suspect and discovered she was impaired and under the influence of alcohol or drugs and immediately took her into custody. An investigator with the Sheriff’s department was contacted and during the investigation, enough probable cause was established to charge Lockamy with the break in and larceny of the goods.
According to the investigation report, the homeowner reported a firearm, a Beretta/8045F, stolen. Additionally, medication was reported stolen and a wooden deck, Pontiac Grand Prix, computer, television and entertainment center were damaged.
Total value of items stolen and damaged was listed as $5,100.
