In an effort to recognize students that excel academically, show strong moral integrity, and a willingness to serve their community, Mintz Christian Academy partnered with the National Beta Club to offer a Beta club for MCA students.

The club opened in the spring of 2017, welcoming seven inaugural members who met the minimum local academic requirements of having a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, community service hours, and evidence of leadership in our local student body or community. On March 22, MCA received four new Betas including Evan Plant, 10th grade; Daniel Matthews, 9th grade; Katelyn Fann, 9th grade; and Sarah Beth White, 9th grade. Each student received a certificate, a Beta club membership card, and a lapel pin. After the ceremony, there was a dinner for all members of the Beta club and their families.

“I count it an honor to induct these four students into the Mintz Christian Academy Beta Club,” said, Winnie White, coordinator of the MCA Beta Club, “All four of them are not only strong in academics, but have also proven to be leaders in the classroom, in athletics, and in community service.”

The MCA Beta Club is also participating in a community service project. They have been collecting coin tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. These tabs will be turned into the RM House, who will then cash them and use the money for operational needs.
