Chamber experience like going on adventure

I cannot express how much I have learned about Sampson County over these three months through my journey with the Chamber.

It has been so rewarding and so much fun to be able to explore Sampson County as we are continuing our journey, continuing our mission of being dedicated to the economic growth of Sampson County, a healthy business community, and an outstanding quality of life. Together, we can accomplish more than what one can do individually as we are “working together for total community development.”

While no one day is the same in the Chamber Office, each new day is filled with excitement and new discoveries throughout our journey. The Chamber invites you to join us in exploring Sampson County.

Although much has been done thus far this year, there is still more to be accomplished. For the remainder of the year, we are excited to continue Chamber Day in each municipality within Sampson County.

In addition, we encourage you to take advantage of the educational opportunities we have remaining for 2015 as well as consider being a part of the Adult Leadership class of 2015-2016. The application deadline is August 28th for the 2015-2016 Leadership class We are also excited about annual events such as Christmas in the City, Christmas in Clinton Parade, Chamber Coat Closet, and more.

The Chamber’s 2015 Ambassador Program consists of 19 Ambassadors. Chamber Ambassadors are a group of Chamber member volunteers who work to promote participation in Chamber events and activities, to recruit and retain Chamber members and to represent the Chamber at related functions.

The guidance, influence and commitment of our Ambassadors greatly contribute to the success of Chamber projects. The Chamber is fortunate to have Ambassadors with such integrity and commitment to service. If you would like to be a part of the Chamber Ambassador program, give us a call today. Thank you to each of our 2015 Chamber Ambassadors.

I also encourage you to consider taking part in the 2015 Business Showcase on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015. From 2-8 p.m., members are invited to set up a booth style exhibit to showcase your business to the community and other business partners at the Sampson County Exposition Center.

Hosted by the Chamber, the Exposition Center and Liberty Hospice, enjoy music, door prizes, delicious hors d’oeuvres and more. Booth space is limited. This exciting event will offer the opportunity for you to sell and promote your business to the community through special sales and advertisements that will generate excitement.

As I mentioned, no one day is the same within the Chamber office as our exploration and journey continues. As always, thank you to all of our sponsors and members for their dedication to the community and Sampson County, the Chamber would not be possible without your support. Explore Sampson County this weekend and be sure to give the Chamber Office a call 910-592-6177 if we can be of any assistance.
