Do you believe God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose? Do you believe in God’s Word? Read Romans 8:28 and think on situations in your life when God worked things out for good! We can be more thankful for good things knowing that God is the source of them. We can have confidence and gratitude because this truth comes from God who loves and looks after us like He does the sparrows. Yet, we must do our part in order to have peace and joy in our hearts! God provides and guides; we believe and be!

When we live in faith, knowing – troubles and trials – heartaches and hurdles – will come, we never have to be victims of circumstance. Loving God first and keeping Him front and center in all things can propel us to a good life. When we believe God is great – God is good, and live like we believe it, we can rest assured that all things we ponder in our hearts will work for good in His perfect timing. While waiting for miracles, changes in situations, new seasons, we must submit, seek, believe, stay positive, trust, obey, and stay connected to Christ through it all! Our attitude about ourselves and the circumstances we are facing can hinder or hurry the good God can send in hard seasons. Rejecting God is like disconnecting our phones.

There is no connection; yet, we know our phone is still there and so is God! He never leaves us or forsakes us! However, when we disconnect, we grow distant from Christ by choice! God is still there; we moved away from Him! If you are reading this story with a convicted heart, knowing you have lost close connection with Christ, I pray you will ponder where you are, pray about your situation, and find a place right now to pray! Call out to Jesus in earnest, seek His forgiveness, plug into His never ending source of power that will open the closed chambers of your heart. Oh, the joy when His love flows like a fountain, unclogs hardened hearts, brings joy where stress and strife stewed, changes actions and attitude, and brings good from the bad for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose!

Staying closely connected to Christ is wise and wonderful! We have the Holy Spirit inside us to help us pray as we wait on the Lord with good courage. Spending time praying, fasting, and expecting God to work things out gets His attention. Believing for good to come and receiving peace in the process, He will strengthen our hearts and all things we are dealing with will work together for good. In God’s timing, we can see how He put all the pieces together perfectly and praise Him for peace, prosperity, and keeping His promises!

We keep our phones charged up daily, investing time and energy learning all about what they can do to make our lives better. We don’t leave home without them, even children learn to depend on them and enjoy extended time spent with them. Do we give spend that much quality, desirable time with Jesus? Does He get leftovers or first fruits with our time, talents, and money? When new phones hit the market, people wait in long lines to invest money to buy them and time to learn all about them.

If someone asked you to find the book of Micah in the Bible, could you do that with the speed you could locate something on your phone? Can you explain the joy of John 3:16 like you do programs on your phone? Our phones keep us closely connected to people and information only when we daily connect to a power source and clean out the clutter that slows down or stops communication and good things we enjoy from knowing how our phones work. Do we plug in daily to charge up our hearts and delete things that can cause poor connection with our Creator? We can be blessed far more than we ever imagined when we stay connected to Christ, enjoy daily walking and talking with Jesus, listen to His Helper’s stirrings, and realize the amazing things He can do through us when we daily plug into His power source and recognize that God is in charge; He is sovereign!

No matter what a mess we make of our lives, God can put it all back together when we seek His forgiveness, follow His guidance, and stay connected to the Vine! We can always trust God to know what to do with our messes and how to bring beauty from the ashes according to His purpose for our lives.

Living disconnected means we miss: seeing God bring good from the bad we encounter, enjoying the beautiful gifts our Lord longs for us to open every day, receiving an abundance of blessings beyond understanding, and a relishing close relationship with God – Father, Son, Holy Spirit…and forever friend!

Have you lost connection to Him? Take time to make things right in your heart with the One who has you engraved on the palm of His Hand, has the whole world in His Hands, knows your tomorrows, and is waiting to take your hand, lead you through life, and bring good from your bad with blessed assurance of eternity in His Promised Land!

Life is good when we are closely connected to Christ!
