Arrests/citations

• June 1 — Tamara Frederick, 24, of 69 Manuel Lane, Faison, was charged with child abuse (non-assaultive). Bond set at $2,500; court date is June 7.

• June 1 — Nicholas Chevon Moore, 26, of 633 Boone St., Roseboro, was charged with simple assault and communicating threats. Bond set at $500; court date is June 25.

• June 1 — James Edward Herring, 55, of 4764 Beaver Dam Church Road, Roseboro, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bond set at $2,500; court date is June 15.

• June 2 — Vincent Clay Manley, 50, of 508 East Canary St., Dunn, was charged with driving while impaired. Bond set at $1,000; court date is July 23.

• June 2 — Ronald Wayne Turner, 49, of 1110 Bryan Road, Newton Grove, was charged with breaking and entering, felony larceny, safecracking, larceny by employee and possession of stolen goods/property. Bond set at $15,000; court date is June 15.

• June 2 — Whitney Fifi McDonald, 30, of 42 Angela Lane, Clinton, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense. Bond set at $5,000; court date is June 15.

• June 2 — James Robert Michael, 28, of 393 E. Williams St., Apt. E, Angier, was charged with shoplifting. No bond set; court date is July 5.

• June 2 — Jamarian H. Smith, 18, of 8745 Garland Hwy., Clinton, was charged with carrying a concealed gun, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, resisting arrest/hinder and delay and failure to appear on out-of-county charges of possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Bond set at $5,000; court date is June 25.

• June 2 — Travis Allen Hardy, 25, of 4108 Trelawney Court, Hope Mills, was charged with second degree trespass and intoxicated and disruptive. Bond set at $500; court date is June 12.

• June 3 — Austin James Swinson, 18, of 2502 Wildcat Road, Harrells, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $5,000; court date is June 15.

• June 3 — James Lamb, 57, of 303 Still St., Clinton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny and failure to comply. Bond set at $1,495; court date is June 12.

• June 3 — Derek Wilfredo Medine-Aguilar, 19, of 72 Cypress Lane, Godwin, was charged with driving while impaired and provisional DWI. Written promise; court date is July 24.

• June 3 — Franklin Chad Jernigan, 38, of 935 Maynard Road, Godwin, was charged on out-of-county warrants with communicating threats and threatening phone call. Bond set at $1,500; court date is July 3.

• June 3 — Giovanni Pemberton, 31, of 1264 Hwy. 117 South, Warsaw, was charged with harassing phone calls and cyberstalking. No bond set; court date is June 27.

• June 3 — Laquandra Michelle Lemon, 27, of 661 Red Hill Road, Mount Olive, was charged with misdemeanor larceny. No bond set; court date is July 23.

• June 3 — Quantia Shanice Darden, 24, of 605 W. Bay St., Warsaw, was charged with larceny. No bond set; court date is July 23.

Incidents/investigations

• June 1 — Paul King of Clinton reported the theft of a trailer, valued at $958.

• June 1 — Breana Faison of Autryville and Hertz Car Rental Service were victims in a theft and break-in. A TV and cash were taken from Faison, while a 2017 Chevy Cruz, valued at $15,000 was reported stolen and later recovered.

• June 1 — James Berry of Clinton reported that a pig, valued at $1,200, was killed.

• June 2 — Jordan Bass of Dunn reported the larceny of a lawnmower, valued at $1,000.

• June 3 — Omar Hernandez of Garland reported the theft of an heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit, valued at $2,000.

• June 3 — Rayford Royal of Clinton reported the theft of a trailer, valued at $1,100.

• June 3 — Rebecca Lockamy of Clinton reported larceny of metal grates, an air compressor and a car jack, valued at $1,275 total.
