Math teachers and guidance counselors from local high schools met with math instructors at Sampson Community College recently to discuss the concepts in Math 171, Pre-calculus Algebra, a course that many Career and College Promise students take at SCC during their junior or senior years in high school. Career and College Promise allows high schools juniors and seniors who meet certain criteria to take many courses that provide college credit at all of the four-year universities in the UNC system.
