The Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce is honored to partner with the Small Business Center at Sampson Community College for a variety of seminars throughout each year. Seminars such as Social Media Marketing, Investing Local, Tax Updates, SimplyMaps, and many more.

We strive to offer seminars that meet the needs of the community in order to educate for economic growth within the business community. We are excited to announce that the Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Center, and the Sampson County Exposition Center have partnered to host a seminar to help gear up for the 2015 Business Expo.

The Business Expo is a one-day “trade show” that is open and free to the general public that allows an opportunity for businesses to showcase the goods, products and services they offer.

This is an excellent opportunity to further market and promote your business to a captive audience. This exciting event will offer the opportunity for you to not only promote your business, but will also be an excellent time to offer and sell products and to offer “show specials” or to promote unique items and merchandise.

The 2015 Business Expo is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 5 and will be held at the Sampson County Exposition Center. The Business Expo will be open to the public from 1:30-8 p.m.

All seminars are brought to the community at no charge. Our seminar to help businesses gear up for the Expo will be held on Monday, Sept. 28. From 6-9 p.m. a seminar will be on “Generating Revenue & Recognition with Special Events for Business Owners (Business Expo Prep Seminar)” in the Small Business Center (The North Building) at Sampson community College.

This seminar focuses on the marketing and revenue generation aspect of special event planning including the upcoming Business Expo. We will discover how to identify your target market or ideal event guest. Attendees will learn how to develop sponsorship packages and proposals, fundraising plans, and create add-on event revenue generation. We will also discuss what to expect at trade shows such as the Business Expo.

If you have questions about this opportunity or the Business Expo, give us a call at 910-592-6177. We look forward to continuing to serve the Chamber membership and local Community with such educational opportunities.
