The Richard Clinton Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is holding a Constitution Week ceremony on the north side of the Sampson County Courthouse at 4 p.m. this Tuesday, Sept. 17, to kick off the week. The aims of the celebration are to emphasize citizens’ responsibilities for protecting and defending the Constitution, preserving it for posterity for its foundational role for our way of life.
