Jennifer Naylor, a teacher at Midway High School, was recently named the TAG Teacher of the Month for Sampson County Schools.

She believes that teachers are facilitators.

“Good facilitators promote learning that is both purposeful and enduring,” Naylor said.

While talking about education, Naylor referenced a quote from Albert Einstein — “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.”

“As a teacher, it is my responsibility to embed a passion of lifelong learning into all of my students,” Naylor said. “Every situation, whether it be in the classroom, on the court, or in everyday life, lays the foundation for the experience.”

Other teachers recognized for Teacher Action Growth (TAG) include Steve Mallard, Hobbton High School; John Laub & Douglas Korer, Lakewood High School; Jennifer Naylor, Midway High School; and Keagan Warren, Union High School.
