On Jan. 29, Roseboro Salemburg Middle School held it’s first ever Winter Fest. Winter Fest was sponsored by the RSMS PBIS committee. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. To attend, students had to receive 5 Paw Prints for good behavior. Paw Prints are given to students by teachers for being respectful, safe, motivated, and self-controlled. Those that attended the event had the opportunity to participate in outdoors games such as tug-o-war, kickball, corn hole, and relay races. Indoor activities included a dance, face painting, cake walk, three point contest, and selfie station. RSMS students thoroughly enjoyed themselves during Winter Fest. The PBIS committee plans to hold another good behavior event in the Spring.
