The Rural Advancement Foundation International-USA (RAFI-USA), North Carolina Agromedicine Institute, and NC Cooperative Extension invite farm families to a Farm Resiliency Workshop on Monday, Sept. 30, from 6-8 p.m.

The workshop will take place at the Duplin County Cooperative Extension Center, located at 165 Agriculture Drive in Kenansville.

The purpose of this event is to help farm families become more prepared and resilient to meet the demands and challenges in today’s agriculture environment. Disasters, farm stress, and uncertain markets can make it difficult to cope with such forces. This meeting is designed to educate, inspire, and assist farmers with practical tools and information to not only survive, but to thrive.

Supper will be provided. RSVP appreciated, but not required. To RSVP or with any questions, contact Russ Vollmer, Field Coordinator at RAFI-USA. Vollmer can be reached by phone at 919-495-2724 or through email at [email protected].
