Clinton water customers will experience periods of low water pressure and outages due to a water main break.
Affected areas include:
- Chestnut Street from Elizabeth Street to Fayetteville Street
- W. Elizabeth Street from Wall Street to Chestnut Street
- Fayetteville Street from W Faison Street to Sycamore Street
- Ferrell Street from W Elizabeth Street to Sycamore Street
- McKoy Street from Vance Street to Loop Street
- Sycamore Street from Chestnut Street to Fayetteville Street
- Wall Street from John Street to Elizabeth Street
The Division of Water Resources advises that when water is restored, consumers boil all water used for human consumption (including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation) or use bottled water. Vigorous boiling for one minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water.
Customers are advised to conserve water as much as possible.
