Changes have been made to the leadership at Star Telephone Membership Corporation.
Jeffrey Allen Nethercutt has been named to the position of assistant general manager and will assume the new responsibilities Jan. 1, 2017. Nethercutt began working with Star in 1995, and has held the previous titles of revenue manager, director of revenue and vice president of corporate affairs.
“I am very honored to be given this great opportunity,” Nethercutt said. “My desire is to continue and to build upon Star’s tradition of outstanding customer service and technological innovation.”
Star’s promotion of Nethercutt is one that general manager Lyman Horne says is the best choice for growing the corporation.
“Star is very proud to promote from within, a quality individual such as Mr. Nethercutt,” Horne said.
Star Telephone Membership Corporation, headquartered in Clinton, N.C. is a member-owned non-profit cooperative providing telephone, internet, and video services in the rural parts of five southeastern North Carolina counties.
