Who can believe that November is next week? Us here at the Chamber sure cannot! With November brings many more events and hopefully some cooler weather. During the months of November and December we would love to see the community get out and get involved.

With the community and surrounding communities still recovering from Matthew we ask that you help in any way you can. The first and foremost biggest way to help is by shopping local. I cannot stress this enough. If you are out shopping local you are helping these businesses who lost so much during the storm and you are keeping money in the county and that is what we hope to achieve. On Nov. 26 we are celebrating small business owners by participating in Small Business Saturday. We encourage you to always shop local but on that particular Saturday we want to celebrate them and give the community an event to get out and do so! For more information on Small Business Saturday please contact us here at the Chamber.

Next week is November which means Coat Closet drop off locations will start. Give the gift of warmth this season and donate any old coats that you are not using or have been looking to get rid of. Every Fall and Winter this is important but especially this year after the devastation that Matthew left there will be a lot more children in need! Call the Chamber for locations.

We are now accepting applications for the Clinton Christmas Parade. Come on out on Saturday, Dec. 10 to celebrate the season and watch some awesome floats come by. Bring your friends, children, or neighbor and enjoy a nice Saturday morning in Downtown Clinton.

For any information regarding these events please contact us here at the Chamber at 910-592-6177 or by email at [email protected].
