Happy Thursday Chamber Friends! We have been very busy here at the Chamber and that is the way we like it. We celebrated a very well deserved move and expansion of business last Thursday with a ribbon cutting celebration for Southern Bank here in Clinton. We love to see members growing and the community supporting one another.
Join us this Saturday, March 18, for the 2nd Annual Sampson County Job Fair. It will be held at the Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. There will be on site job training, possible on spot interviews, and a lot of different positions to browse at from healthcare to truck driving. This is an event you do not want to miss if you are in the market for a new job.
Trying to get in shape and feel better? Sign up for the Sampson County Super Sprint Triathlon. It is a 5 lap pool swim, 7 mile bike ride, and a 2 mile run/walk. Anyone ages 8 and up can participate. Make it a family event and kick it into gear. Stay around after for lunch or to get some Easter goodies in our downtown shops.
With Easter quickly approaching make sure to shop local first this season anywhere from house decorations to gifts for family and loved ones, Sampson County has it all. Look for those bright green Chamber membership decal stickers and support those businesses that support our County.
