Sampson Regional Medical Center has announced the addition of obstetrics and gynecology among the services offered by Sampson Medical Group.
Dr. Henry Hyman, who formerly practiced at Goshen Medical Center, joined Sampson Medical Group of Clinton on April 4. Hyman will continue providing specialty care for women in Sampson County and surrounding areas. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Hyman graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and has more than 36 years of experience, 12 of those practiced locally. He maintains privileges at Sampson Regional Medical Center and will continue to provide expert care, now under a new practice name.
Sampson Medical Group is a family medicine practice, providing adult and pediatric care. With Hyman’s transition, the location now offers general OB-GYN treatment, ultrasounds, infertility treatment, treatment of osteoporosis, high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgeries.
“I enjoy caring for women through all phases of their lives,” stated Hyman. “Being involved in the completion of a pregnancy with a healthy outcome for both mother and baby is just one of the reasons why I chose OB-GYN as my specialty.”
Hyman brings a combination of skill and experience to the team of providers at Sampson Medical Group.

Sampson Medical Group of Clinton, located in Sampson Regional’s Medical Park, provides convenient access to both family medicine and women’s specialty care in the space previously occupied by Goshen Medical Center at 516 Beaman Street.
