Chamber working to grow businesses

By Kaitlin Adkins - Contributing columnist

Join the Chamber tonight for our June Business After Hours at Tim’s Gifts here in Clinton! Bring your business card and let the Chamber work for you from 5:30-7 p.m. at 112 Northeast Blvd. Refreshments from Dominos will be served and you will get the chance to learn about the latest events with Tim’s Gifts.

Come out next Monday at 11 a.m. as we network and celebrate with Member of the Week, Simpson and Holland Appraisal at their location of 2202 S Salemburg Hwy., Salemburg.

I encourage each of you to stop by and congratulate our member of the week, welcome our new members, and learn about all of our members by visiting the website at or give us a call at 910-592-6177. For whatever services or products you are seeking we are always proud to recommend our members.

If you’re a member of the Chamber, don’t forget to display your membership decal. Did you know that studies shows that when a consumer knows that a small business is a member of the chamber, they are 63 percent more likely to purchase goods or serves from that company in the future and it increases your local reputation by 57 percent in the consumer’s eyes. Check out the new 2017 Green Membership Decals and display them proudly… consumers notice.

I encourage you to get involved with the Chamber of Commerce. As an individual or business member, take advantage of the opportunities to network, advertise, attend educational seminars, and more. We are over 400 members strong and continuing to grow. Give us a call at 910-592-6177 and let us be a part of your business or organization today.
