Yesterday, we held our quarterly ambassador breakfast. For those of you who do not know what our ambassadors do, I would like to take this chat to inform you because I like to call our ambassadors the chambers back bone.
The Ambassador Club’s annual goal is to increase the retention rate of new and existing members by conducting a program of goodwill calls; reinforcing the benefit of Chamber membership, increasing members’ knowledge about programs, services and benefits; and keeping the channels of communication open between the membership and the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
So, what is a Chamber Ambassador you ask? The Ambassadors are a group of knowledgeable volunteers serving in a year-round effort as the customer service representatives of the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce and acting as a conduit between the Chamber and its members. Volunteers aid the Chamber with membership recruitment, retention and reactivation by making personal calls and visits. Volunteers encourage members to become involved in the Chamber and assist members in learning more about the Chamber. Ambassadors will inform and receive feedback on Chamber activities and programs.
We are so thankful for our hardworking and dedicated ambassadors who bring life to our events and who help the staff reach out to all of our members to make sure they are getting the full benefits of being a chamber member. Anytime to happen to see one of our ambassadors out and about, please thank them for all that they do for the chamber and for taking their time to volunteer with us!
For more information about how to become an ambassador or a member of the Chamber, give us a call at 910-592-6177 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We always encourage more ambassadors and businesses to get involved so do not miss this opportunity.
