Happy Thursday Chamber Friends! We have a lot of activities going over these next few weeks and we would love for you to get involved. With Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and then Christmas coming up there is a lot going on in our community.

With approximately 24 million military veterans in the United States, the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce is honored to partner with the Sampson County Veterans Council and the Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center to host the 19th annual Veterans Day celebration. We encourage you to join us on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m. at the Sampson County Exposition Center (414 Warsaw Road in Clinton). No tickets or reservations are required.

Join us next Thursday, Nov. 16, for our November Business After Hours with Southeastern Outdoor Products. Come have dinner with us and experience the artistry of metal fabrication. From 5-7 p.m. come out and bring your business cards to network, tour their facility, and take your picture with the Metal Man.

Also, join us the following day for the Annual Christmas in Clinton Parade at 10 a.m. on Dec. 9 in downtown Clinton. The Christmas in Clinton Parade is truly a staple to our County seat and we look forward to another great family fun tradition.

Lastly, the Chamber’s Coat Closet will continue throughout the month of November. Drop off your new or gently used coats at one of the 15 drop off sites located throughout Sampson County. We encourage you to give the gift of warmth this winter.

I look forward to seeing each of you throughout the community on Nov. 25 as we support our local businesses with Small Business Saturday. Share with us on the Chamber’s Facebook page your small business support story.
