Busy month ahead for Chamber

By Kaitlin Norris - Contributing columnist

Happy Thursday everyone! I have not been a big fan of this week’s weather, but it is not stopping us from all of April’s events. So many great things are coming up this month that you do not want to miss!

Come out this morning to support Dominos and all of their hard work and renovations to create such a stress free and relaxing eating environment. Come out at 10 a.m. this morning to hear a few words from the owners and their friends, and to watch the Mayor make his first pizza! This is a ribbon cutting you will not want to miss.

Come out Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate our Chamber Member of the Week, Denning, Herring, Sessoms, & Company, PA. They are located at 1905 Sunset Avenue in Clinton. This is a perfect opportunity for Chamber Members to get to know other businesses in Sampson County and make the connections for how your business could benefit theirs! Donuts will be provided by the Chamber!

Our Business After hours is kicking back into gear this month on Thursday, April 28. The host will be Southeastern Outdoor Products, Inc. Come enjoy a country themed BAH with fresh squeezed lemonade and southern appetizers. You may even get something to take home just for coming! They are located at 714 Warsaw Road in Clinton.

April is also such an exciting month, and with all of the positive energy in the air, us here at the Chamber encourage you to shop local. For every $100 spent shopping local, $73 of it remains in our local economy. Take your wife or girlfriend out to dinner by visiting some of our delicious local restaurants, or give them a thoughtful gift by shopping at our wonderful local stores. There are numerous ways to shop local, and we encourage you to do so within Sampson County!

Your business is not a Chamber member? Contact us at 910-592-6177 or email us at [email protected] for more information on how the Chamber can work for you. With over 450 members we offer multiple events and multiple types of businesses to network with to help grow yours!
