Happy Thursday Chamber Friends! As most of you saw in the paper this week, the Young Professionals of Sampson County partnered with the Downtown Design Committee this past Saturday for a clean-up downtown day. I had the opportunity to participate and it was such a fun experience. You really do not realize how much trash accumulates over a year’s time until you are the one picking it up. I really encourage everyone to utilize the trash cans around the downtown area and anywhere so we can help keep Sampson County looking beautiful!

If you are new to town or you are above the age of 22 and below the age of 40 then reach out to me and learn more about the Young Professionals organization. It is a great way to get involved in the community, meet other young professionals, and advance your business skills. We participate in at least one event a month, so do not hesitate to join and start getting involved!

Head over to NAPA Auto Parts of Roseboro with us on Monday, April 18, to celebrate them as our Member of the Week at 10:30 a.m. Member of the Week may be one of my favorite weekly events. It gives the businesses a chance to state their purpose and their meaning to the community, and it also gives the participants who come out to support them a chance to explain who they are and what they do, and how they can benefit our Member of the Week. It is a great opportunity to put your name and your business name out there, or just to remind people of what it is you do and what your business stands for. They are located at 105 North East Street in Roseboro.

Our Business After Hours is picking back up this month on Thursday, April 28, at South Eastern Outdoor Products, located at 714 Warsaw Road in Clinton. Come on out for a good time and let them show you what they are all about. There will be drinks and appetizers, as well as some music. It will be an After Hours you do not want to miss! So come on out between 5:30-7 p.m. to enjoy all of the fun!

For any information about our events or what we can do for you, please do not hesitate to call the Chamber of Commerce at 910-592-6177 or email us at [email protected]. I encourage you all to get involved in the Chamber. We offer a lot of unlimited opportunities for you and your business. Let the Chamber work for you!
