Chamber honors leadership graduates

Happy Thursday Chamber friends! I am so excited for the next month full of activities! Who says summer is a bad month to plan events? We sure have things rockin’ and rollin’ here at the Chamber! We hope you all can join us this summer for all of our exciting events.

Congratulations to our Member of the Week from this past Monday, Sessoms Jewelry. Sessoms Jewelry is family owned, and has been in business for 50 years. They take pride in being part of the local community, and are proud supporters of the Chamber, Schools, and Civic groups. Sessoms Jewelry offers service sales and engraving. Visit them today at 105 Wall Street in Clinton or give them a call 910-592-5249. Join us this coming Monday, May 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Nissan of Clinton to celebrate their business.

We just celebrated our Adult Leadership Class with a graduation on Tuesday night at The Hungry Farmer Restaurant. This is a wonderful program for not only the adults in our community but for our Junior’s in High School as well. After listening to a few of the participants speak about their experience over the course of eight months, it is truly an eye opener about how much more they learned about the county that most of them grew up in. I encourage businesses to get an employee involved in this program and further their knowledge of our county and our drivers behind economic development.

Join us on June 2 at 10 a.m. for the open house and ribbon cutting of High Cotton. Come out and celebrate this new business in our community and Chamber to show them just how supportive Sampson County is! You may even leave with a couple of products. There will be drinks, food, and a good time had by all.

We love to celebrate our chamber businesses, and welcome new businesses in our community. For any information about our events or what we can do for you, please do not hesitate to call the Chamber of Commerce at 910-592-6177 or email us at I encourage you all to get involved in the Chamber. We offer a lot of unlimited opportunities for you and your business. Let the Chamber work for you.
