Arrests/citations

• Feb. 13 — Karim Ahmed Alkhanshali, 33, of 1248 W. College St., Salemburg, was charged with trespassing and communicating threats. No bond set; court date is March 7.

Incidents/investigations

• Feb. 13 — Henry Barnes of Newton Grove reported his vehicle broken into, with the car’s sound equipment taken from inside. The equipment was valued at $2,041. Damage to the driver’s side door lock assembly was estimated at $500.

• Feb. 13 — Sunset Avenue Carwash was the victim of damage to property. A vacuum machine, valued at $2,100, was reportedly damaged.

• Feb. 13 — Skippers Well Drilling was the victim of theft. An enclosed trailer, valued at $2,000, was taken along with various drilling supplies, also valued at $2,000.
