Arrests/citations

• March 9 — Ashley Monique Young, 31, of 4854 N.C. Hwy. 242 North, Garland, was charged with larceny by employee. Bond set at $3,000; court date is March 23.

• March 9 — Claude Ray Parker, 42, of 43 Homewood Lane, Newton Grove, was charged on out-of-county warrant with communicating threats. Bond set at $1,500; court date is April 13.

• March 10 — Michael Ray Glenn, 28, of 134 Fling Drive, Durham, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and served out-of-county warrants for failure to appear on a count of probation violation and ethnic intimidation. Bond set at $8,500; court date is April 12.

• March 10 — Nicholas Allen Cash, 30, of 701 N. East St., Roseboro, was charged with driving while impaired. Bond set at $1,500; court date is April 11.

• March 10 — Willie James Wortham, 70, of 106 Jacobs St., Clinton, was charged with second degree trespass. Bond set at $1,000; court date is April 11.

• March 10 — Elsa Alvarado-Alvarez, 36, of 600 S. Ingold Ave., Garland, was charged with school attendance law violation. Bond set at $500; court date is April 2.

• March 10 — Katie Michelle Alvarado, 34, of 112 South Hill St., Faison, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor child abuse and driving while impaired. Bond set at $4,500; court date is May 1.

• March 11 — Jordan Diana Lockamy, 23, of 1189 Hollerin Road, Dunn, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $15,000; court date is March 23.

• March 11 — Johnathon Andrew Crumpler, 24, of 2005 N. Salemburg Hwy., Salemburg, was charged with driving while impaired. Bond set at $750; court date is April 11.

• March 11 — Angel Reyes Flores, 36, of 34 N. Bladen Ave., Garland, was charged with driving while impaired and driving left of center. Bond set at $1,000; court date is April 11.

• March 11 — Rudy Antonio Torres, 28, of 156 Bubbling Brook Lane, Godwin, was charged with driving while impaired, failure to maintain lane control, assault on a female, driving while license revoked and fictitious information to officer. No bond set; court date is April 11.

• March 11 — Ashley Byrd Hicks, 28, of 11 Country Manor Lane, Dunn, was charged with assault and battery. No bond set; court date is April 10.

Incidents/investigations

• March 10 — Fred Best of Clinton reported the theft of an undisclosed sum of money from his residence.

• March 11 — Tasha Williams of Clinton reported a residential break-in with damage inflicted to three water pipes. Total damage estimated at $1,000.
