Midway honored for perfect math score

Sampson County Schools recently honored Lauralee Harris for making a perfect score on her Math End-of-Grade test.

She is a third-grader at Midway Elementary School (MES) and is the daughter of Craig and Melanie Harris. It was noted that Lauralee excels in many areas. During the a recent board meeting, she received a plaque for her accomplishment, after being recognized by MES Principal Robin Cooper.

During the testing period, she was one question away from having a perfect score in English Language Arts. Her parents and her teacher Amy Fields were also recognized for their involvement.
