Sunny skies and warm temperatures, combined with a gathering of hundreds of area beach music lovers and the Band of Oz, made for the perfect kickoff Thursday to the 2026 Alive After 5 series in downtown Clinton. Residents brought their lawn chairs and dancing shoes to the event, while sponsors and their guests mingled at the City Market, enjoying the music and the fellowship. The AA5 series continues through Oct. 9, when Liquid Pleasure will close out the season. Next up, on June 18, will be Soul Psychedelique; Aug. 13, Bounce Party Band and Sept. 10 Spare Change.
