The Hobbton Wildcats remain the standard of the Carolina 1A/2A boys soccer conference. After surviving two intense nights of playoff pressure in the league tournament last week, Hobbton walked out holding both the regular season championship and the conference tournament title, cementing a dominant close to the league portion of their schedule before entering the NCHSAA state playoffs.
The Wildcats secured wins over Lakewood in the semifinal and East Bladen in Friday’s championship.
