The Lady Horses tennis team continues to roll as they defeated James Kenan rather handily, winning Monday’s match 7-2.
The Horses were seemingly unstoppable all match, dominating the Tigers in singles sets and even squeezing one out in doubles. Clinton swept the Tigers in every singles match, winning in straight sets.
Contributing to the singles sweep were Catherine Smith, Isabella Faison, Lizzy Tart, Cassidy Montgomery, Mattie Byrd and Kendall Spell.
To finish off the great performance by the Horses, they won a doubles court match to clinch the victory.
The duo that would claim the doubles victory for the Dark Horses included Megan Byrd and Michaelah Hall.
With the win, Clinton is now 3-3 overall on the season and improve to 2-2 in conference play. The Lady Horses tennis squad will be on the road on Wednesday for another conference match against Spring Creek.
