The Clinton Dark Horses women’s tennis team was in control during their conference matchup against Spring Creek Wednesday. However, the game was called early due to rain.

A make-up date has already been scheduled. The match against the Gators will be concluded on Oct. 5.

Prior to the match being suspended, the Horses had taken a 3-0 lead over Spring Creek, showing early dominance in singles sets. Winning singles matches for Clinton were Isabella Faison, Mattie Byrd and Kendall Spell.

The Lady Horses were right back at it in another conference match on Thursday, hosting the Goldsboro Cougars at the Dark Horse Tennis Complex.

Tennis match postponed until Oct. 5
