Golfers participating in this year’s 15th annual Sampson Regional Medical Foundation golf tournament will have the opportunity to win a car yet again. Hole-in-One contestants will have a chance to win a 2018 Toyota Camry, sponsored by Deacon Jones Automotive of Clinton. -
The Sampson Regional event will be held at the Coharie Country again, the date is set for April 26. The final day for registration will be April 12. -

With only six weeks of waiting left the 15th annual Partners for Life Invitational Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Sampson Regional Medical Center Foundation, will be here soon.

This event will take place on Thursday, April 26 at Coharie Country Club in Clinton, NC. This well-established, 18-hole golf course will provide a challenge to all golfers, no matter their skill level. Tee time will be at 9:30 am. Proceeds from this year’s event will be used to introduce new or replace current anesthesia equipment in the operating room. A range of equipment is used daily by anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists, CRNAs, to administer safe anesthesia and establish airway for patients.

Registration form to participate should be in no later than April 12. The format will consist of Four Person Captain’s Choice Tournament, $125 per person; $400 per team.

Golfers will have an opportunity to participate in several great contests, including a Hole-in-One contest for a chance to win a 2018 Toyota Camry, sponsored by Deacon Jones Automotive of Clinton. Along with Closest to the Pin and Hole-in-One prizes on all other par three holes, No. 4 sponsored by Ribeyes of Clinton. Five lucky players will be given a chance at the $100,000 Shoot Out, sponsored by Nissan of Clinton,where they can win big bucks for themselves and the Foundation.There will also be entry for a chance at $1000 chip contest, longest drive to the line prize on a par five and many more.

There will be a silent auction with a chance to bid on unique athletic memorabilia and special sports collections. Community business and individuals are invited to participate in support of the hospital, with contributions deductible to the extent tax laws permit. Seeking corporate sponsorship, team registrations, door prizes and goodies for golfers welcome bags; statements for gift-in-kind contributions are provided.

Teams pre-flighted by total team handicap, four flights, players’ handicap will be verified. The tournament will be limited to 36 teams or 144 players, prizes for top three places in each flight. Entry fee includes green fees, cart rental, refreshments and buffet lunch.
