The Dark Horses men’s tennis team kept their undefeated streak going after another road win Thursday afternoon. With another strong performance, they took down Triton in commanding fashion, the end result being 8-1.

Facing a windy day did little to stop Clinton’s dominance, setting up victory in yet another match thanks to amazing singles play. Cooper Brewen, Peter Darden, Camden Thompson, Lukas Jerez and Trevor Leggett did what they’ve done all season and won singles matches in straight sets. Wesley Cowand was also playing well, up in the second set of his match, but was forced to retire due to injury. That give Triton its only match on the day.

It was back to work for the Horses in doubles play, with different duos teaming up again this match, but it didn’t impact the results at all.

The new team of Darden and Thompson has been doing really well as they clinched another win on court one. Brewen was paired up with Jerez at two and Leggett was with Sam Holloman on court three. Both came away with wins.

With another win, Clinton improves to 11-0 on the year. They’ll travel for their last regular season match at Cape Fear on Monday.

Clinton’s Cooper Brewen sets up for a strong serve during a previous matchup. The Horses cruised to a win on the road Thursday at Triton, taking it 8-1.
