On Saturday (today), the Harrells Christian Academy Lady Crusaders travel to Freedom Christian Academy for a third round matchup in the NCISAA 2A softball playoffs. The Harrells squad has found some success as of late, and take a three-game winning streak into what will prove to be a daunting contest against 21-0 Freedom Christian. Harrells is 9-11 on the season, but have doubled up their last three opponents by a score of 24-12. The Lady Crusaders will be visiting the scene where their male Harrells baseball counterparts saw their season come to a close Thursday. Harrells baseball was ousted at Freedom Christian in the second round Thursday by a score of 8-0. Harrells finished the season 10-9.
