AUTRYVILLE — Mr. Perry Wayne Sessoms, 64, of 61 Crystal Lane, Autryville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 at Faith Chapel Church of God, Roseboro, with the Rev. Glenn Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at George Faircloth Cemetery, Salemburg.
Mr. Sessoms was born Jan. 14, 1951 in Sampson County to the late Preston and Lillian Mae Rhiner Sessoms. He worked as a painter. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John C. Sessoms, Jerry Sessoms, Henry Sessoms and Donnie Sessoms; sister, Edna Ammons; and great grandchild, Marvella Munns.
He is survived by one son, Terry Wayne Sessoms of Grays Creek; daughters, Cherry Hall Davis of Texas and Maryann Young of Fayetteville; brothers, Lee Sessoms of Florida and Erwin Sessoms of Autryville; sister, Belle Autry of Roseboro; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and special friend, Dorothy Hinton.
The family will receive friends 1 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at Faith Chapel Church of God, Roseboro.
