Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive — The local U.S. Postal Service will conduct its annual food drive Saturday, May 9. Residents are asked to fill plastic bags left with non-perishable food items and leave by their mailboxes Saturday. Food will be distributed to local food banks.

Fifth Annual Walk/Run 4 Wellness — to benefit Harvest House will be Saturday, May 16, at the Harvest House of CommWell Health, 1480 Maple Grove Church Road, Dunn, which is in Sampson County near Spivey’s Corner.
